This study investigates the factors that influences growth in women-owned enterprises in Yola North, Adamawa State, highlighting various challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, including social norms, lack of social support and attitudes toward women enterprises in yola North. The study utilized mixed-methods approach, primary data was collected through questionnaires administered via mobile application. A multistage sampling technique selected 369 women entrepreneurs from six wards in Yola North. Binary Logistic Regression analysis was employed to evaluate the influence of socio-culture on women enterprises in yola. Results indicate that societal gender norms, community support and positive attitudes are crucial for the growth of women businesses in Yola. Recommendations include strengthening support networks and promoting adaptive market strategies. These findings underscore the importance of a holistic approach in supporting women entrepreneurs, emphasizing the need for policies community support, and economic infrastructure.
