Abstract
The study assessed the influence of child abuse on the academic performance of senior secondary schools in Karu local government area. n order to achieve the objective of the study, two questions were raised and discussed. The survey research design was used, and simple percentage analysis was used. The study revealed, among other things, that there's a significant influence of child abuse on the academic performance of senior students in Karu, a local government area of Nasarawa State. The study recommends among other things, that education policy forums should talk about child abuse and its effects on students. Also, parents should always treat their kids with love and care and make sure they have what they need.
