The study examines human capital development and organizational performance in selected secondary school in Keffi metropolis, Nasarawa state. Data for the study was collected through structured questionnaires of 130 sampled respondents from the selected secondary schools. Friedman's neoclassical theory of human capital development was adopted. The ex-post facto research strategy was used, and the Statistics Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) using inferential statistics was used to analyse the data collected from the respondents. A weighted mean and standard deviation technique of data analysis was used to analyse the data. The findings indicated there is a significant relationship between human capital development and organizational performance. Hence, the study concluded that there is a significant relationship in the creation of innovative ideas and skill development that influences teachers' productivity in the selected secondary school in Keffi metropolis, Nasarawa state. The study recommends that human capital development should be a priority for governments and school administrations to quickly improve employees' skills, conceptual knowledge, and grasp of education's overall goals and values.
